Staria Receives the Future Workplaces Certification for the Fourth Consecutive Year

For the fifth time in a row, Starians have responded to the Siqni survey by The Significant Company. We are proud to announce that Staria has been certified as a Future Workplace for the fourth time!

We are proud to announce that Staria has been awarded the Future Workplaces certificate for the fourth consecutive year! This esteemed recognition, granted by Siqni, celebrates leading workplaces that excel in company culture, driven by exceptional employee insights.

With an impressive 83% of Starians participating in the Siqni survey this year, we have gained invaluable feedback that supports our continuous development around the factors that matter most to our people.

The survey results highlight that the most meaningful aspects for Starians are the freedom to work regardless of time and place, as well as maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We are proud to share that these areas are rated exceptionally well by Starians!

The Siqni survey measures employee experience by assessing how well the meaningful factors for employees are realized in the workplace. Future Workplaces certification is earned by employers who place company culture at the core of their leadership, reflected in an excellent employee experience and exceptionally high Siqni survey scores.

When answering the Siqni survey, each Starian chose the five most meaningful topics for them at work. The top 10 list below shows the most meaningful factors for Starians this year:

  1. Freedom to work regardless of time or place

  2. Work-life balance

  3. Fair salary and perks

  4. Meaningful work assignments

  5. Fair and competent immediate supervisor

  6. Job security

  7. Opportunities for career advancement

  8. Professional colleagues

  9. Strong camaraderie at the workplace

  10. Development opportunities that match my own interests

As seen from the list, "Freedom to work regardless of time or place" claimed the #1 spot.  This topic has been the number one for Starians for five years in a row, highlighting the emphasis of our hybrid work culture. In terms of how well Starians thought this factor is realized in the workplace, the results came out at 92 out of 100. While there will always be variety in a company of Staria's size due to different expectations and individual experiences, this number indicates that the majority of Starians feel that this factor is well-realized at Staria.

A heartfelt thank you to all Starians for your active contribution! Our award-winning culture is built and maintained together. We accept the Future Workplace 2024 certificate with honor and gratitude!

Investing in leadership shows good results

The leaders' role in setting the stage for a meaningful employee experience is crucial, but it's not an easy job. In the Siqni survey, Starians gave one of the highest scores for their immediate supervisor being "fair and competent." During 2023-2024, Staria is investing in developing leadership through collaboration with reputable Aalto Executive Education and the focus on leadership development continues to be a key focus area for development work going forward as well. Starians’ strong emphasis in hybrid culture, international presence, complex operating environment and ever-growing size of the Staria team create a frame where strong leadership is emphasized even more.

Growth is achieved together

Today, Staria consists of 550+ professionals in 7 countries (and 16 offices!). During 2024, we welcomed over 100 new colleagues into the Staria family. The turnover estimate for 2024 is 44.5 million euros, and with an annual growth rate of 20-30% in recent years, we expect to maintain high growth rates in the future.

We are dedicated to making Staria a Great Place to Grow and are continuously working on topics that are meaningful for Starians and supportive of our ambitious growth rate. This year’s results further-strengthened our view on what Starians see as the cornerstones of their engagement, as the TOP 10 was the same as previous year, despite the growing number of Starians. We at Staria, want to be the most wanted workplace among modern experts in the field. To achieve this goal, we will keep on continuously developing the Starian experience and promote mindset and topic areas that catalyze our growth and development, both as individuals and as an organization.
