Growing the international operations and customer base
As International Growth Director, I am responsible for our growth internationally. I deal with questions such as what countries we should be focusing on, where we should grow, and how we will find our new customers in those markets. Since I joined, we have hired more people locally in Sweden and our team here continues to grow. We have opened up subsidiaries in Norway and in the Czech Republic, where we are now growing with consultants and customers and where we have performed several projects for customers with international headquarters. We have signed new and successful projects in countries like Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Greece. All these customers are international customers that have business in multiple countries. I am usually involved in the sales discussions and in the steering groups of these projects.
Working with inspiring growth companies
We are working mostly with growth companies, and we are ourselves a growth company. There is a special kind of attitude that I like in these kinds of companies. The attitude is hard to describe but I think “can do”, fast decisions, and willingness to learn new things is part of it.
