Meet Staria's UK team

During September 2023, Staria took a great leap on its international growth journey and expanded its operations to the United Kingdom. At the time, five, and today, a total of six, new Starians joined the Staria family, opening our first UK office in Reading, England.

The UK team is led by David Atherton, who was appointed as Staria’s UK Country Manager to manage Staria’s growth on the UK market. The team currently consists of six new Starians who have expressed feelings of excitement about joining Staria and being able to leverage Staria’s global team to provide the best NetSuite experience for customers.

An experienced team that understands customer needs

The team has extensive experience with NetSuite ERP (decades for some!) from many different perspectives and roles, such as partners, in-house specialists, consultants, and end users. Throughout their careers, the team has helped numerous customers get value out of NetSuite and have implemented the system across many different industries and types of businesses, such as PE/VC portfolio businesses; software, service, manufacturing, FinTech businesses; and businesses with complex needs around for example Asset Field management and associated billing for multiple revenue streams.

The team is experienced with customer needs and how to meet these as a partner. They believe that clear and honest communication about what can and cannot be achieved, and setting realistic expectations from the start, goes a long way. The team also believes that it is important to cultivate trust between customer and partner to enable a successful and agile implementation project with continuous communication.

One customer that the UK team has worked with is PSV Glass & Glazing, which is the leading specialist glass distribution and installation company in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

While PSV Glass & Glazing originally implemented NetSuite with a different partner, they eventually crossed paths with David Atherton and his team. They were impressed by the team and the increased value they saw across their solutions as a result of the collaboration, and decided to keep working with the team to manage ongoing optimisations across their solutions landscape.
